The Law Offices of Anne Marie Gennusa, PA handles all types of Criminal cases from Misdemeanor (Driving Under the Influence/Reckless Driving, Domestic Battery & Marijuana Possession) to Felony (Sale/Possession of a controlled substance, Violations of Probation and Homicide).
Ms. Gennusa has over 15 years experience in the defense of individuals accused of crimes. She graduated from Temple University School of Law where she participated in a guided research project regarding Death Row inmates and mitigation, assisted as a research assistant to a criminal law professor and handled over 60 criminal cases as a law intern before being admitted to both the New York and Florida Bars.
Ms. Gennusa started her legal career in Bronx County, New York handling exclusively criminal cases. During her legal career she has handled thousands of criminal cases from arraignment through trial. Additionally, she has also served as an Assistant State Attorney in St. Johns, Florida. She is familiar with all stages of a criminal proceeding and stays current on the law in Florida. She is a Life Member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and currently serves as Secretary for the local St. Augustine chapter.
